Set a Custom Startup Page in Chrome
First, let’s look at which page shows up when you initially launch Chrome. To change the page the first appears you need to change the “On Startup” setting. Launch Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the window and choose Settings.
Then click the “On Startup” section on the left-hand side. From there select “Open a specific page or set of pages” then click “Add a new page.” In the dialog field that appears type or paste in the address of the site, you would like to open automatically when you launch Chrome. When finished click the Save button.
Add a Custom Page to the Home Button
To change the homepage for the Home button open Settings. Then on the Settings page scroll down to Appearance and flip the “Show home button” switch on. Then select the empty text field below it and type or paste in the address of the site you want to open up when you click the Home button.
Now when you exit out of Settings you will see the Home button next to the address bar. Clicking on it will bring you to the website you plugged in earlier.
That’s all there is to it. Now you will have a specific page open up when you launch Chrome. And you can have a specific page open when you click the Home button. This comes in handy if you want to see a particular site often when you are using Chrome to browse the web.
